In case anyone else is in the mood to make a charity quilt right now, I wanted to give you a link to www.quiltsforkids.org the organization that gets small quilts to hospitalized children. They will even take your ugly fabrics off your hands and make them into quilts, if that is what you want to donate.

This is where I am sending the houses quilt top. They will get it finished for me, which is really great.

FYI: The donated quilts get washed every day, so they want quilted, not tied quilts.

This is a really great group. They were in Quilt magazine recently. And there are so many good places to donate quilts to, I hope everyone has a chance to send a little quilted love to someone who needs comfort.

I just thought I would share that with you.

It's wonderful and cheerful and made me think of a box of Crayolas. And it will be very loved by a lucky child.

I think it's a wonderful quilt and I think you said it was a pattern from an old magazine. Can you tell us what magazine. Maybe I will have it. Thanks for sharing. Beautiful quilt and beautiful that your're sending to QFK's.
