    Hello all

A while ago Pennyswings sent me a yard of some beautiful fish fabric so I gave it the OBW treatment! I love it and it's a keeper! I put it on the coffee table to take the pic and like it so much there, I might leave it as a table topper! :D Thanks so much Penny! :D

Thanks girls! I must admit that I'm getting quite pleased with my FMQ - even thinking it's time to move on from random meandering and try something a little more adventurous! :D

Terri - I know what you mean about cutting lovely fabric - I'm about to use some of the cream floral you sent me as a border on a Christmas quilt for a VERY good friend - and I'm nearly crying at the thought of cutting it! And I'm thinking, well if I only do 4" borders then that still leaves some for ME!

Ooohhh pretty! I want to do one with a bunch of colors like that but my to do list is way longer than my arm. Love the name you picked too. How much fabric did this take? And how big is the whole thing? Too many questions? Sorry, gotta get all the details. :D

    Thanks everyone!

Jenell - I think it was just under a yard of fabric and I got the 6 repeats by cutting vertically and horizontally. I cut the strips at 2" wide and the whole thing with border is around 20" x 25". I'm sorry - I was so excited to start cutting, I forgot to take a pic of the fabric!

OMG K that came out beautiful!!! The only one that notices the points don't match on one square will be YOU! I can not believe how much you got out of the one piece of material. I Love it and you did it justice girl!!! It came out spectacular!!! love the border color you used.
It was my pleasure to give you pleasure. So glad you love it enough to keep it too!

PS. Just read your last remark. LMAO you forgot to take a picture of the fabric before. It still is beautiful!

    Hugs girl!

Thanks Penny - yes, I'm a twit! I need to put a sticker on my OBW ruler - TAKE PHOTO!

Sula - I thought you'd have done by now, what ya waiting for? :D

Seriously though, my next one is another Asian style fabric, inspired by this one but more muted shades of maroon, turquoise and gold; I'm dying to get cracking on it but I WILL remember a pic of the fabric!
