Hi All

I purchased these rulers back in January and had not used them until last night. My LQS offers classes to those of us who have purchased machines from them. The instructor who is awesome made the sample and wrote up the pattern for us to us in creating this place mat. It was really easy to come together. I plan on using it as a center piece for holder my decanters. Besides being a quilter, I also studied wine. So, I tend to buy every wine fabric I see.

Thanks,

The beauty of this message board is if your inspiration and motivation are frayed, someone will produce a project to get you back in the saddle. I've been coasting on neutral most of the summer. Someone posted something recently to get me focused.

I purchased a serger, finishing off a Carol Taylor quilt I started and now back in some of my classes. Now to be honest, I sat here and oodled over lots of folks quilts for about 3 weeks.

Neat border with that ruler, hadn't heard of it before, so did a search to see what it looked like.
Love your wine fabric, I backed my DD's wedding quilt with tone on tone tan coloured wine bottles & grapes
