Awesome job, and I do agree with your husband you do need to keep your first masterpiece. And indeed that it is. You have completed some terrific quilts. Enjoy your new hobby, you will!

I agree that you should keep the first. Both are wonderful! I love red, white and blue quilts. You've made a great start! And I'm glad you're hooked. You've joined a great crowd of adicts.

So beautiful! And really outstanding piecing! Congratulations on being a perfectionist (yes, I know it's a nuisance!) and creating such a gorgeous first quilt. By all means, keep it; I agree, never give up your first.

I love the patriotic Irish Chain. I am working on a QOV using red, white and blue. You've certainly done a beautiful job for a first quilt. Keep up the good work!

I think you did a fantastic job! Have to agree with everyone else that you definitely have to keep your first quilt. Have you thought about maybe quilting it by hand?

Beautiful job on your quilts, yes, keep the first. I take a photo of every single quilt I make and put them in a special quilt brag book. Just for me to see and remember.

Pieced from AND back for your first quilt? Pretty impressive I'd say!
