Default Double Slice Laye Cake

I just finished this blue Double Slice Layer Cake top. For some reason, I really like making this pattern. Maybe it is because it is just comfortable to make and always looks good.

Thanks for looking.

I love it! I feel the same way about this pattern and plan on making one soon. Did you use layer cakes? If so how many & what size did they make? I think I have enough but wanted to see how you came out.

Love yours! I love a classic Blue quilt in any pattern! I too love Double Slice, it goes together quickly and as you said it always looks wonderful, and is perfect for larger prints.

I agree, it’s one of my favorite patterns. Your fabric choice is lovely.

I didn't use a layer cake this time. I just selected 8 fabrics that I liked and cut one 10 inch WOF of each. I cut four 10 inch squares from each, which gave me 32 squares. I used 30 for this quilt, and two of the fabrics for borders.

I hope this is helpful.

I have made that pattern many times. I just finished a large double size. Well, I just finished the top and pillow covers.
