    Thanks for looking.

Absolutely agree. I have also made this pattern several times and depending on the layer cake it looks like an unsolvable puzzle or simply a beautiful blend of colors scattered in a pleasing manner. I have a back log of layer cakes and plan on using this pattern to diminish that part of my stash later this year.

Your choice of layer cake is perfect for the double slice pattern. Such nice clear colors that are pleasing to the eye and the border you added is perfect!

I love this pattern too. It goes together easily and always looks good. It's a great scrap buster. Can't remember how many I've made now.

Yours looks lovely with the blues.

Thank you for the info on how many 10 inch squares you used. However, you forgot to provide the finished size. I’d appreciate that info too if you don’t mind. Again I say, you’ve made a beautiful quilt, the kind pleasing to my eye. Love it!

Your quilt is beautiful! Great use of a layer cake! I have several sitting here to use and keep looking for the perfect idea. This may be the one. Great Job!

Your timing is perfect! I purchased a layer cake for a baby quilt this weekend and was trying to think if a pattern that wouldn't cut the cute designs down too much. There are mama and baby animals on it. Thank you for posting. Love your quilt.
