Default Double Wedding Ring binding done

I received this vintage Double Wedding Ring Quilt 8-10 yrs ago from a friend. It is hand pieced and quilted but lacked a binding. I tried to locate fabric that would not be too blatantly out of character to the rest of the quilt. A LQS clerk assisted me in looking through their inventory and finally came up with the green. I think it is of another decade but it was the best we could locate. The binding was a challenge but it is done. The quilt needs to be washed as there is a long standing water stain on it. I am hoping that some of the yellow will wash out as well.

Looks lovely! Throw in a couple of Colour Catchers in when you wash it in case of bleed. If the stains don’t come out, try Retroclean.

Walmart has this product you could try to get your yellow stain out with.
I love your double wedding ring. How pretty.
