I have this book, but haven't tried it yet. I think I'll get it out and give it a go. Thanks for the inspiration.

oooh, I love it. Most of those that I have seen are done with a white background, but the colors in this one makes it so rich looking.

okay, you caught me...all my quilting group makes fun of me because i don't use white often and i CAN'T use beige...i even buy it and try to work it in and then when i start weeding out the extras and pretty soon all the beige is back in the stash...other people do it really well, but i have ecruphobia!

the backs of these quilts are so much fun to play with....it's hard to visualize sometimes...like 5 blocks had to have all or part in the red/white gingham to make the center front the way i wanted it...
