Default Double Wedding Ring Quilt

A couple years ago my DH requested that I make another DWR quilt. When I was a fairly new quilter I made a DWR quilt and it turned out just OK. When DH requested another one, I told him I would do it after I retired. It took me about six months after I retired before I started it. I worked on it off and on for a little over a year, and finished the flimsy Friday. For this quilt I used my AccuQuilt Go cutter and followed the directions on U-Tube posted by Ebony Love. This quilt went together much better than my first. Her directions were so clear and easy to follow. My DH has now told me what fabric he would like the next DWR quilt made from! LOL I plan on using my Ruby Deluxe to quilt in the center sections.

I like the fabrics you chose. They have a thirty's feel look about them. It looks beautifully pieced. Well done. I have made 3 so far since quilting from the 80's. I have used 2 different methods. Not really keen to do another, but if my husband wanted one of-course I would reconsider!

Two reasons I don't want him to have his own machine.
#1 - he would want to use MY fabric and more important
#2 - he would probably stop cooking!
