    Default DP Kaleidoscope Pattern

This is the first quilt with a purchased template to cut pieces. I used the DP template to create the blocks, then pieced them using my standard kaleidoscope pattern. Turned out larger than expected, almost queen-sized. I forgot to compensate for the fact that the blocks were larger than I usually make. It is difficult to quilt that size on my domestic, and I had vowed not to make large quilts. Happy glitch.(now that it is finished)

Quilting each block separately (QAYG) and then joining works well. And the reverse side can be much more interesting than a plain back.
