    Default Dr Seuss shower gifts

My son requested that I make some baby shower quilts for a friend that is doing the baby’s room in Dr Seuss. He showed me a sample of how he wanted them done so we sat down and came up with these. They represent book characters, can you guess which one they are?

There are going to be four reversible quilts. They are hanging with the front and back in each picture. I have stars to add the yellow and black one but will wait until after I quilt it so I can get the stars placed where I want them. Since they will be reversible, I will probably quilt them with straight lines or stippling.

I’ll get them quilted in the next week or so. I plan to finish a couple more tops this weekend if I can. I like three days weekends.

Those will coordinate very well. Love the out of the box thinking for the dr seuss theme.

They should coordinate wonderfully with the baby's room but not conflict with their designs..........great alternative by your artistic duo.

I get the Cat in the Hat and Grinch for #1, and Horton and thenLorax for #3. It’s been a while since we read those so I’m having trouble getting the others. I love the very graphic look of them all!
