    Dr Who

I was unaware until reading a recent thread, that there are so many Dr Who fans on the board. My family have been fans since I was young and and we have indoctrinated our children. I made this Dr. Who piece for my daughter (the biggest fan in our family). It was her 27th birthday and she just about cried.
The fabrics are 1. The backing - 'Doctors & Friends'.
    2. Front has 'Eleven Travelling Doctors' and 'Timey Wimey Stuff'

Hope this post works. My husband and I have spent most of the aftenoon working on getting my first post right!!
    Thanks for looking.

Thanks. The label was printed on fabric on the computer. Not clever enough to make a Tardis.

Growing up 'has wiskers on it'. I wouldn't bother. Do you have Starry Night, avatar, with the Tardis in it?

Hmmm....wonder if Vincent would approve! I plan on "translating" some of his work into quilts (eventually). Haven't seen any Dr Who fabric in my travels...do you know if it's still available?

Yeah, I've never seen Doctor Who fabric, either...how cool is that?

Here is a link to paper piece a Tardis!!! There are some examples of completed Tardis' on the Fandominstitches website where the pattern is found. Oh...do try it! Love your fabric. My daughter would have me buy the Dr. Who fabric if she knew it existed!!!

The time lords and his assistants! wow how great. My 32 year old daughter and I used to stay up late on sunday nights just to watch the Dr. She was probably 4 then. I love the quilt! I'd never even thought about there being a Dr. Who fabric out there. I now know what to get her for christmas. Thanks for sharing.

I guess I live in a different time warp. I have no idea who "Dr. Who" is. I like your quilt though.

Thanks to all for your kind comments. I got the frabic online from spoonflower.com, CharlotteO has a detailed link above.
I believe that when they get your order they then print it. It doesn't come off a roll. Fabric is quite heavy duty too.
They also have the same in wallpaper and wall decals, though I haven't ventured there yet.
