    Dragon Quilt for my great-niece

This is a slight adaptation of Little Dragons Everywhere by Needlesongs (Carol Bruce). I actually went to the site to get the castle Keeper Tote pattern and found this instead!
Don't know if you will see it twice or not at all!

My daughter would love it. Nice job.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, mountian dew in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming. Yea haw what a ride! Suzie Sew

Very pretty. What is that tree behind the quilt ? Is it avocados? I have never seen that?

Oh oh oh!! I'd be mighty pleased and proud to have this on my wall!!! And yes, what ARE those avocado-like fruits hanging on the trunk behind the quilt?

That is a papaya! Unfortunately we always seem to have a frost/freeze before they can ripen so they are now rotting on the stalk.

This is also a scrappy quilt! I have made her various costumes over the past few years - all with "sparkly" fabrics. Used something from each of the costumes to make at least part of a dragon. Guess I am not good enough with my camera to get the sparkle to show.
