My husband loves wizards and dragons so I made this quilt for him. I added stones to the eyes and around the black fabric to make it sparkle.

Thanks. I found the pattern in the book Spellbinding Quilts, Wizards, Witches, and Magical Characters by Maaike Bakker.

How unusual a quilt is that - it's so unique - love how you've quilted it also.

I have that book bookmarked for a hopeful later purchase. I love Harry Potter and that's what sent me to looking!

We're big Harry Potter fans also. The book includes a bat, castle, black cat, centaur, fairy, giant, griffin/sphinx, knight, magical hats, owl, pegasus/hippogriff, star, unicorn, witch and wizard. There's lots to choose from!

STUNNING!~ That is the only word that comes to me right now. I bet he is happy as can be with this. I personally love it and I am sure he feels the same way. What a lucky man to have a wife with the tallent you have and a wife that loves him so much to dedicate so much time to making him something he will forever cherish.
