Thanks for your commments. My squaraes don't have the extreme amount of contrast as some but it was still fun to look at the differences. I put some pinwheels going right and some going left depending on the design I liked best. This drove the ladies at the quilt shop nuts but I did it anyway...One thing I found out is, if the contrast color is in one of the points - even if it looks OK on the board, the point is going to disappear in the seam allowance. I was disappointed a couple of times after it was sewn.
