I also love the dragonfly! The wings are great....I think red wings on the dragonfly would look awesome! If you do it don't forget to post it!

That you all for your kind comments. I have been meaning to make a dragonfly quilt for several years, so when I got the request, I really wanted to jump right in. Of course, I made 3 or 4 tries before I got the size and shape I wanted, I used to have a little water garden under my old sewing room window. Between that and bird feeders, I had dragonflies and hummingbirds 'visiting' me as I sewed.
