This modern day design is perfect. The colors accent each other to perfection. Will it be a gift or one to keep for yourself? Beautifully done.

Pretty quilt and it could pass for Southwestern.

Thank you very much. I have a Tiara sit-down machine, and the quilt was freehanded. I tend to do all my quilts with this pattern. I've done a Baptist fan pattern (very tedious) and some strait line quilting, but I always seem to come back to this meandering pattern. By the time I finish a quilt, I'm usually very happy to be done with it, and this meander is the fastest method for me.

Thank you, Julia. It was given to my daughter's good friend, a lovely woman I have known for years. She keeps it on her sofa, which just happened to be dark turquoise, and claims that she has wrapped up in it every night while watching TV. A quilter couldn't be happier than to hear that.

Great work! Love your color choices: out of the ordinary, but perfect for the design.

It is very striking, and as others have said, quite calming. I would never have thought to use those colors, but they are beautiful together. TYFS
