If you want to draw the eye away from the large circle, you could add a 2nd, smaller circle on top of the larger one, using one of your other fabrics. Maybe one of the prints?

Hi, I have several already made just like you have posted here with the large centers and as long as they are Dresdens who cares:). It's GORGEOUS!!! Don't change a thing. BEAUTIFUL COLORS TOO!!! just the way you made it. Mine are all scrapy colors which I love in the Dresdens. Even if your doing the Dresden block exchange and some centers are bigger than others, THAT'S QUILTING!! and I don't think ANYONE would say OH!! NO!! you can't put those, with some smaller centers and some larger centers :). I would do a swap with you anytime and no explaination needed. Are you going to stitch around the plates? I'm in a swap now to do exactly that and to me that's something I have not done much of, so I will see how it goes. PM me sometime, love to hear from you.
    Shilrey/Tn. (jigs1354) on the board. :)

I think it's awesome. Who would want a quilt that was exactly like someone else's anyway?

I think it works well. This is going to be great when finished. Just think of the special quilting you can put in the center of the larger circle! Wow!
    peace :D

Looks good to me. Dresden plate is my next quilt. Will be making it in Civil War Fabrics.
