The Dresden Heart

Penny~it is never TOO EARLY to post a picture. We love to look at ALL work, whether it is one block or a whole quilt!! Lots of pictures are posted of works in progress. It keeps us drooling and waiting for more!
I love your blocks. That is a really pretty pattern and you have picked great fabrics for it. Do not wait until you are completely finished to show us more!!

Thank you for the compliment. No I will not wait until I am done to post more pictures. I will probably want all of your opinions when the grape and teal batiks get here. I was thinking that if I had enough to do it that I would use the pansey material around the blocks as a border separation, instead of the grape and teal.... Ok, now I am getting ahead of myself.
I Will keep you all posted and post more pictures once the new material comes.

I love that site and this pattern she designed and named the Dresden Heart just caught my eye. I have been wanting to do a Dresden something, either a plate or fan but this was so unique I just fell in love with it.
Look around on that site, she made a window pane block quilt with Thimbles in each block that is to die for. I would love to make this one too.
