    Default Dresden Plate by Doris

This is such a beautiful quilt, I wish I could keep it for myself. I love everything about it. When Doris brought it to me for machine quilting I knew that it begged to traditional quilting, even though the layout was more modern. I used Hobbs Poly batting, and brown and peach thread to match the front fabrics. I simply love how the back looks.

I think I love the back a bit more than the front. I love the subtleness and elegant look of the back. The front is beautiful too, but prefer the calm look of the back. Great job. Two quilts in one. Quilting is fantastic. It's wonderful.

The backing is gorgeous, but the front is even more gorgeous. Kudos to both the piecer and the quilter.
