    Dresden plate from long ago

This is one of my first quilts I quilted on my domestic machine. It was a gift to my MIL several years ago.

If I remember correctly I loved this checked sashing but it was printed off grain. I cut it with the checks anyway and it has washed just fine. I made this in the 90s.

Your quilt is beautiful. I love that pattern but have never made it. My DM left a bunch already made and ready to put on a block seeing yours made me want to find them and finish making a quilt with them.

Beautiful quilt - and your checked sashing is perfect! Great idea to cut it with the checks and not the grain.
