I am making my Dresden plate quilt with the same sashing as you with the very small 9 patch blocks. I am putting yellow in the center of the blocks because something had to go there. I am using the same color in the sashing. I bought my plates off eBay, got 22 of them all pieced together. None were appliqued to the white 14 inch muslin, so it has taken me about 9 months doing this when I watch TV. Obviously I do not watch much TV. I love your quilt, I also love rescuing these old quilt tops and blocks.

What a beautiful job you are doing with the plates! I like the sashing and cornerstones a lot and use this style of sashing often. You will have a quilt to treasure.

The blue is perfect---much better than the green and the cornerstones really set off the blocks. Love your quilt inspector.
