Dresden Plate for Sister-in-law
#28
That is a such a wonderful setting for a Dresdan plate. It is beautiful such great colors.
I live the closest to my Mother so I do the little things for her that come at odd times and are the little emergencies of life. My brother lives 2 hours a way and it was so lovely one day when he said something about appreciating how often I go do five minute jobs for her and take her treats.
So I am so thrilled to see you giving the quilt to your SIL. I'm sure like me, just a word of appreciation would be a great kindness, but the quilt is such an expression of your appreciation. We don't expect that appreciation but it was nice that someone did.

What a beautiful quilt! Usually the dresdan plate projects that I see are only small (tablerunners, etc). This is certainly a gorgeous one! Bet your DSIL is going to love this one!! Isn't it just special to have great in-laws?
