Default A Dresden plate variation

This quilt comes from North Carolina, she is a member here (I don't know her screen name) She told me that she wishes to 'show' this quilt and she likes my work. I was very flattered and wondered (like most quilters) if my work was good enough.

After a couple of phone conversations I had general idea what she wanted. She left the specifics up to me.

Here's what design I laid out, she asked for the light weight poly batting with a 1/4" set-back for binding.

Hope you enjoy the pictures and the give you some ideas.

That is drop dead gorgeous! Well done, both of you! I wish the maker would let us know who she is so we could thank her for letting us enjoy seeing her masterpiece. I am in total awe of both of you. Just sign me green.

I love the work by both of you. Good quilting. Lovely plates. The sashing was a fine addition.
