    That is the best dresden I have ever seen! and a lot of "Fussy-Cutting". :mrgreen:

    Karyn sent me the answers to your questions.

    Dresden plate is the name of the pattern
    The repeats determine the amount of yards...
    you need twelve repeats
    The background is 15" square
    the sashing is cut 3" q
    The cornerstones are cut 3" x 3"

    The border is the remaining fabric cut from the beginning.
    The dresden express ruler is the hardest to get.

    If they want the pattern I am happy to send them a copy just give me their name & address.

    What a lovely quilt. Some of Wal Marts material is nice. But like everywhere you have to look at it. I got some from a quilt shop that was quite thin and did not use it. Paid good money for it too.

    Really is an exciting look. I don't understand why anyone worries about using Wal-Mart Fabric. If you can get quality fabric at those prices - Go for it. The fabrics in that quilt look very nice to me
