It's a treasure, and 50 years from now she may tell her grandchildren about the wonderful thing you did for her at this time. I know because I have a cousin in her 70's now, whose family house burned down to a total loss when she was a child, and she still talks about the wonderful things that people did to help them out.

What a sweet Lady you are , she will be thrilled when she gets these gifts. My DM use to make me dresses just like this one and it's one of my dearest memories still. :D
