Drunkard's Path Oversized Lap tops done

Your quilt tops have a modern look to me. They both look great. A couple days ago, while visiting with a friend, she showed me a drunkards path that she was working on. Her blocks were so neat. It got me thinking about I need to try one, but I haven’t found a layout I am crazy about. I have seen a picture of the circles done with blues and with fish , so the circle looks like bubbles. I liked that but I wasn’t wanting to make a child’s quilt. I guess I just need to search DP so I can see other layouts. Anyway, I will try to keep your quilt tops in mind for teenagers. I think they would go for this look. Good work!

Tartan and all you who have responded with such nice compliments. I made the quilt arrangment using EQ8. When I was going thru my drawers for a certain ruler, I found these Drunkard's Path templates still in unopened packages and I know I've had them for a good 5-10 years so decided it was time to take the plunge. I always like a challenge and I figure curves will be my next challenge.
228 small 3.5" blocks and 48 larger 7.5 blocks later. Somehow I cut too many of the outer sections in the light fabric and I thought I was being so careful with my cutting. I cut the larger block sections first and used the leftover fabric for the smaller blocks so I wouldn't have too much scrap leftover. I now realize I could have left off the half row on the right side as well as the bottom and still have a large lap quilt for each of them. I also noticed a block was flipped the wrong direction but didn't see it till I photographed it. Isn't that just how it goes, you don't see your mistakes till you take a photo?
Anyway, thank you all for your responses and now I'm no longer afraid of curves. My next lap quilt will be another optical illusion lap quilt and I've got all the cutting done yesterday.

@Snooze2978 LOL on the block turn. 2nd row, 3rd? I thought that was the design change you were talking about on the 2nd quilt.
Lovely job! I have a set of dies for the smaller size. Haven't tried. I have done a queen size tumbler, but that curve isn't as exaggerated.
