Default Duck, Duck, Goose in yellow

I recently posted a quilt called Duck, Duck, Goose in blue. I loved making it so much that I made another one in yellow. The Name of the pattern is Duck, Duck Goose by Meags and Me. I found the floral print at the LQS and I bought another print for the binding. I had the background fabric in my stash, It is white with yellow dots. The rest is also from my stash. My daughter challenged me to make another one in pink but I can't wrap my head around pink ducks....pink elephants yes, but not pink ducks. Time will tell if I try a pink one or not.

I love this! Is the Applique designs stitched with an embroidery machine or do you do some other way? I’m going to look back and re-read the blue one to see if there is a pattern. My cousin is having her first great grandson and I may would make this. Lovely job! Make that pink. Remember at Easter years ago they dyed baby chicks in all colors? I think your quilts shout ‘Spring’ or new birth!

There are also chickens that lay colored eggs, such as blue, green, olive, and pink. They are named Easter Eggers. Honestly!!
These birds are a cross breed between two others.
So if we can have pink eggs, why not pink chickens? Or lavendar or apricot, and pale green. Maybe find a multi colored polka dot print for the chickens. My imagination is going crazy here! I'm going to order this pattern and make some for Project Linus...so much fun and cuteness!
