How under the sun does an artist modify fabric? Or am I misunderstanding?

All the fabrics on the Spoonflower website are custom prints from art submitted to them by the artists. I just contacted the original artist and asked if she could enlarge the duck print to a 8" size so I could use it in this quilt. She promptly accommodated, resubmitted to Spoonflower and they printed it. Service from this site is remarkable; prompt and courteous. I highly recommend them if you have a need for something custom.

I love this quilt! I love the expressions on the faces! The title brings to mind something my DGS said when he was 4. I was getting him dressed for preschool and his sweater had a moose on it. His little brother pointed at it and said cow. I said no, that's a moose. The older one said we play that in school! Now I'm trying to think of a game called moose!?! So I asked him what game is that? He said- duck, duck, moose!
