This is what i am working on now. Trying to finish it so i can start working on my Disappearing Nine Patch.I will just have to have 4 WIP going.

I am trying to get those curves in order, it's a devil  getting it straight and keep from stretching it.

That floral fabric is gorgeous! Looks really nice with the solid. Hope you work out the curves.

Lookin' good, Jerrie! You're doing just fine. I, too, love your choice of fabrics! You have a good eye for color.

Lots of pins (every half inch or so), keeping the "L' shape on top (to control the fullness), and sewing slowly are some of the things I do to make curves easier. Mark the midpoint and quarter point of each curve by finger creasing, match those points up and pin them first. Then pin between them as necessary. Keep turning the piece counterclockwise (to your left) as you sew the curved seam. It gets faster and easier in no time at all...honest! :D My first quilt was a strip pieced Drunkard's Path so all the straight edges were on the bias in addition to the curves. Talk about stretching!!
