Oh my gosh!!! WOW!!!! That is so beautiful and it's amazing to think of the work that has been put into your Aunt's quilt (both you and her). Gorgeous! Thank you for sharing this treasure. :-)

Sometimes...a quilt is not just a quilt but a real treasure....this is one of them....i hope it remains in your family a long, long time and that your aunt has many years of enjoying it...along with you of course !

The words I think of when describing how beautiful something is just don't seem to do this quilt justice! The matter in which this came together makes it even more special. I hope your aunt is doing well and you can do many more quilts together since the two of you make quite a pair. :-)

Thanks so much! I hope she has many years to enoy it too. She picked it up this morning and absolutely loved it. Gave me lots of hugs. :-) :-D

Since finishing chemo several years ago, she's buried two sons. She was inspired to finish it after seeing another DWR I had quilted (not nearly as nice as hers). I'm so glad she did and I know it'll be cherished in her family for years to come. Thanks for all the kind generous comments. It means a lot to me and I've passed them along to her also.
