Wishing your Sil continued improvement. I know she loves the beautiful quilt and you for making it for her. When my mom was in the nursing home I kept quilts on her bed and I decorated her door. She was aquilter and she thought she made them. It was so much fun because she. Thought she was really busy! I miss that crazy lady!

You made a lovely quilt that will brighten the room for your SIL. I hope she makes a good recovery. It has been a long haul for her.

How caring and thoughtful of you to spruce up her room. I know it's a tough situation being in a daily struggle to get better taking baby steps. She has a good support system and hopefully will continue to improve. Being in a care facility has got to be taxing for her as well. I'm sure she appreciates it.

Most likely it was a resident that took it. Staff call it shopping because many of the residents can no longer think quite straight. On every visit to my mother I turned stuff into staff for reorientation. Mother had someone's teeth once and door decor seemed to be a favorite magpie item. Please give staff the benefit of doubt.

My aunt was a quilter. Both she and my uncle had to be put ina nursing home-dementia! Her daughter took 2 of her quilts to go on their beds and they went missing almost immediately! My cousin went to the nursing home everyday to check on them! No one seemed to know what happened to the quilts! Not all nursing home workers Are Honest! IJS

Lovely quilt and will always warm the heart of your SIL. I am sure she will feel loved and that is so important to someone in a nursing home.
