Wishing your Sil continued improvement. I know she loves the beautiful quilt and you for making it for her. When my mom was in the nursing home I kept quilts on her bed and I decorated her door. She was aquilter and she thought she made them. It was so much fun because she. Thought she was really busy! I miss that crazy lady!

How caring and thoughtful of you to spruce up her room. I know it's a tough situation being in a daily struggle to get better taking baby steps. She has a good support system and hopefully will continue to improve. Being in a care facility has got to be taxing for her as well. I'm sure she appreciates it.

I have to say that a lovely purple blanket I sent my SIL disappeared on the very day I sent it to her. My niece found it down the hall on another person's bed. She put it in her car and left it there so my SIL could use when she was being transported in the car. (note: my SIL's name, room, was on the blanket, but that did not keep in the correct room. I often wonder how many such gifts go home with someone else?

My aunt was a quilter. Both she and my uncle had to be put ina nursing home-dementia! Her daughter took 2 of her quilts to go on their beds and they went missing almost immediately! My cousin went to the nursing home everyday to check on them! No one seemed to know what happened to the quilts! Not all nursing home workers Are Honest! IJS
