    Default Easter quilt "Risen"

Was planning to raffle this at church for Easter but the church was shut down. We made masks and sold them instead. In the midst of the pandemic, our priest of 12 years was reassigned. So I decided this would make a nice going away/ getting ready to retire quilt. When I cut out the pieces, I cut double of everything. Maybe one day im have a quilt of my own! This is only my 15th quilt I've completedbut I still do not have one of my own. I started quilting in order to make for someone else... and continue doing sho.

What a beautiful demonstration of your skills. And such a good idea to gift it to your priest. It will be such a lovely holder of memories of his stay with your community. Now, make one for yourself.

Beautiful design and colors. Now make one for you. Great idea to cut two quilts when you started the project!

Just gorgeous and what an appropriate gift for your pastor. I, agree, everyone needs to have one of their own quilts, but somehow they are always on the back burner as we continue to quilt for others. Someday, someday..........
