The background is one piece of a graduated gray, black and white. I am not sure of the manufacturer but I am sure it can be googled.

Funny you mention the no brainer quilting. At first I thought it might look childish but I always have to say to myself-Gut discussions usually win----and just put the needle down and start quilting

This is staying with my collection! I give lectures---so this will be traveling with me.
