    Elaine's HST star...quilted by Charisma

Elaine sent me this star for LAQ.
She hand pieced the whole thing from HST's to the Needle turn applique. Pretty amazing..it's all PERFECT!

She is going to enter it into her local show...so I tried to quilt each element to bring it out further....fan, feathers, continuous curves and echoing.
I am in love with this quilt.
Love the traditional look of it...
    Thanks Elaine!

HAND PIECED???? I love machine sewing but don't even like to hand sew a button on Beautiful quilt and your quilting definitely compliments all of her quilt elements. That competition should be going in favor of this one!

What a beautiful quilt. If that work of art does not bring a ribbon at the show, those judges are blind! I love the applique work, the fabrics and the intricacies in Elaine's top and the beauty of your complementary quilting. Thanks for sharing.
