Beautiful elephants and looks like a lot of work. So sorry about your sewing machine. When mine is in the shop for cleaning, I feel so lost.

Wonderful quilt with so much detail of the elephants. I hope you get your machine back quickly...

Love your quilt. You must have been able to have a very large table or ironing board to be able to fuse all of that. How much Heat and Bond Lite did it call for??

Are your elephants a Nancy Chong design? I love her work with Mother Nature. I even watched a video of her work, bought the blunt nose scissors, etc, but have not gone beyond that except to dream of her work. One of the women in the local 4H Master Quilters adapted the designs to her own ideas with excellent results. I believe she used the designs as two color stencils. Not everyone is able to settle down to do that much needleturn stitching. One of the shops in Centralia/Chehalis, WA featured Nancy Chong classes.

I believe it is, I bought it from Pacific Rim Quilting. I do fusible applique. There is no way I am doing needle turn applique on such a large project. I will do it one time, but on a much smaller scale!
