Oh dear, you all don't think this is free hand embroidery, do you? Jack Dempsey and Janlynn make the blocks with the images already stamped on them. All I do is follow the lines and when washed the lines go away. I've followed his colors on all of them except this butterfly one. He had it all blue so I changed it up. I could never do all that free hand. One single image on a small square yes, but not a lot of big squares all alike. :-)

This is what it was suppose to look like. Pretty in the picture but when I did some of it I didn't like it.

Gorgeous!! How would your u quilt this top? Freehand around butterflies? Reason I asked is I have blocks that's roses hand embroidery & was told she couldn't quilt over them & don't do freehand

I tie my quilts. I tied this one with yellow craft thread. I like tied the best and it's a good thing since I can't machine quilt to save my life. :-)
