    The towels are for my daughter. Design is from Embroidery Library.

    Beautiful..I would forbid anyone to use them . They would be looky but no touchy at my house !!

    I used a soft permanent stabilizer on the back and a water soluble on the front. I do not use paper or wash away on the backs because the design will lose shape after a few washings. The water soluble hold the nap down while making the design.

    Thank you for that information. I just bought an embroidery machine and wanted to do some kitchen towels for my MIL. I was thinking about using a tear away on the back and water soluble on the front. I was worried the cutaway would show too much.

    Beautiful! What brand of embroidery machine do you have?

    MistyMarie: I use water solublefor stabilizer on top, and tear away on bottom also.
