This is an Innova machine with an optional Grand Format Embroidery unit attached to it. The machine quilts with a PAT format, but then uses DST format for the embroidery designs.

Yes, the back is as pretty as the front! I can change bobbins to match the colors on the front, or just use one bobbin color and it resembles redwork.

Yes, it is an update to Mach 3 software, plus you would have to purchase the Grand Format Embroidery unit for the hardware.

What a lovely embroidery addition to your quilt...I imagine the embroidery options are endless and that you are now on the road to new ideas. Keep us posted.

We have a new Innova dealer in Maine and hear those who have them, love them.
