Default Embroidery and quilting

My sister did all the embroidery by hand - then turned it over to me for quilting and finishing. I just meandered around all the embroidery and added a small border - the back is Happy Go Lucky Fabric by Bonnie and Camille. I love it - its a present for our mom - she just moved into a new home and she is so happy we wanted to surprise her.

Very beautiful! It must have taken a long time and a lot of patience.

It's beautiful, and happy is a good way to describe it.

Wow! I'm doing a quilt right now with those exact embroidered blocks in different colors. I really like how you quilted them and wish I could do the same. I'm pretty sure my skills won't go to stippling that small, though, so I'm thinking vines . . . or something.

Thanks for sharing your quilt with us.
