You guys are all so sweet. Emily will be so surprised to see all the nice things you have written about her and her crumb blocks. She loves to get to stay all night with out any sisters so she can sew.
She is just learning ---but my she is a quick learner.
Thanks again everyone. I am sure she will be so surprised to get fabric in the mail.
thanks again.

Emily is so sweet. I love that she's taken an interest in quilting already. My daughter is going to turn 7 in June and I thought about trying to get her started sewing this summer. Any suggestions on how to start her out? And what exactly is a crumb block?

Izy made a real easy tutor of the crumb block, (I hope i posted that right) and I'm sure your daughter would find this block as much as Emily did. What day is her birthday in June? Emily will be 8 on June 21
