Wow, I thought I recognised some of those quilts. I was there too, all the way from Sunny Scotland. Hope you had a really good day - I know I did. Can't wait for next year. :-) :-)

I too was a vistor as I dont live too far away from this particular venue, and ohhhh the quilts are even more amazing in real life!

Hi Harriet! It was nice to meet you. The winning quilt BTW was by a Dutch lady so my DH (who is Dutch) was pleased as punch. It was all pieced and FMQd on a DSM. It was stunning both in it's design and it's standard of workwomanship - art and craft in perfect harmony.

Great show! Thanks for sharing. There are a few that look extremely difficult to make but the effects are stunning. Imagine have that ability!

That is rather rude of you not only to the makers of those quilts but also those of us here who love them and make them ourselves. If I posted that all the traditional quilts posted on here were 'ugh' there'd be an uprising. Of course I don't do that because they aren't 'ugh' even if I don't find them to my own personal taste on many occasions.

Sorry Harriet, it's your thread but I couldn't let that go. :evil:
