Default English Knot

This quilt was designed by Doug Leko of Osseo, Minnesota. It is an easy pattern to make. Used up some scraps.

Gorgeous! I've recently done quite a bit with brown and I'm eyeing a big stack of civil war types/colors of fabrics I have. I think this would be a great project for the tones without being a period piece. I also have way too many blues and it would be lovely that way as well. Plus I've been wanting to play around with some 3-D effects and this has potential for that too!

Thanks for sharing Sigh, the one drawback I have with this board are all the great ideas I get and not enough time to do it. And then my other big drawback is getting my tops quilted...

Your quilt is beautiful and love the design of the blocks. Especially love the fabrics you used. Can you share where the pattern can be purchased?

Lovely! Looks like a carefully thought out color scheme, not scraps.

The pattern is in his book "Stashtastic" I found it through our local lending library.

Love the pattern and the colorway. A bonus that it was from scraps :-)
