Yup! Drooling all over!! I WANT that middle one, the one that looks like it's still on the bolt. What is it, please!! Yummy, yummy!!!
It IS yummy isn't it? That's the one that looks grey on the pattern so will play a big part in the quilt. It's a batik and that's all I know...
OH MULE MUFFINS!! Don't try and tell me that there isn't any information on the selvage, you tease you!! :?:

Thats kind of on purpose and funny you should pick up on that! I tried it with the points in and thought it looked a bit predictable - this was gave some tension to the design and made it more interesting, I thought. I really value your comments though, thank you. I'm about to head out with the dog but when I get back, I'll post the other version and see what you think :-D

The person asking for as tute - this is just fiddling about in EQ with the blocks in the library - hours of twisting and turning to get to this point! Did you mean a tute on how to get the design or how to make the actual quilt?
I'd love to know how to make the quilt!

Thank you! I'll start one I a) get the centre worked out because it's REALLY bugging me now  and b) once I can get to a shop with lots of batiks to get the fabric for it - there's one an hour or so drive from me (near Bath) that may be a good bet, or my more local lady - half an hour away, might try her first as she does 'stash packs' of batiks and this is mostly FQs and 1/8th yard pieces according to the EQ yardage - which generally errs on the side of generous in my experience. :-D Plus I have a commitment to make a wall hanging for a friend that I want to do first. So that was the looooong answer! The short answer is 'soon'!
OK I am being encouraging! Whip out that wallhanging and head on down to Bath (love that city, go there every time I am in UK) and get cracking on this beauty. Want to see you win.

Actually, the way the fangs are bent, it should be Fangdangle!!

(Looking for my Poise pads)

Yes, I would enjoy seeing how this plays out. I'm in love with it right now.

It's a batik, and they generally don't have a 'proper' selvage, I'm sowwyy! Perhaps next time I'm there I can check it out for you. :-D

The fabric are ready to prewash then I'll probably get started in the next week or so - I have a wallhanging to make first and a couple of tops to quilt for an Art Sale in a few weeks that I want to have done, then this is next on the list... if it works out I'll do a version as a pattern for sale. :D

I still like the first version better than any of the others. It seems more delicate and rich. Some of the other versions are shouting and loud. Is it confusing to get all these opinions? I am not a designer so I am just reflecting a quick look opinion.
