    Pressing sheet - thank you for bringing that up - I completely forgot! It's absolutely necessary, because the fusible requires more heat than you can use directly with silk.

    The blue is stunning. Not long ago I read an article about this type of fabric (can't remember the name of it) and how it's been very popular in Asia for a long time. I'll try to find it and let you know. It's in a quilt mag that I'm sure I still have.

    I'd appreciate more info. It almost looks like it was used as a table cloth or something at one time. The ends of the fabric are turned under and seamed. Creating a finished edge. And it is about the length of a long, formal dining room table. I have collected some expensive, shipped from Japan, traditional Japanese FQ's. So, maybe some day I can have a creative moment with them all.
