    My husband worked on this for weeks. He made it from cherry, my favorite wood.
    The handles are actually straight, but the angle of the picture makes them look crooked. He does beautiful work. The machine does go down into the frame and he made a top to cover it since this is in our guest room.
    As payment for this, I'm making him a big mariner's compass quilt. He's wanted one for years and I was afraid to attempt the paper piecing. I found that it's not that difficult, just very time consuming.

    I love it! His work is very nice. And enjoy making his Mariner quilt.

    He did an awesome job of your sewing center everything looks so neat and organised hope that some of these ideas will inspire my DH for a winter project next yoar.I did a mariners compass using freezer paper have you thought of that technique?
