I love, love , love this girly quilt. Your quilted butterflies are precious and the butterfly fabric a real find. My preemy triplet daughters are 22 and a constant source of joy and wonder.

Yes, Maureen, I DID make it QAYG, from working out the pattern based on others that I have seen and still others that I have made previously. I LOVE it that way, since I am no longer able to hand quilt due to my left thumb/hand not being able to stand the pressure any more. (Old age, I guess.) I cannot afford a LAQ for all the quilts that I make, I made 10 last yr., ALL QAYG (Sorry LAQ girls & guys) So I had to figure out something more "affordable". AND, when I get done w/the top, I only have to put the binding on and the quilt is FINISHED!!!!!!

The pattern is the LOG CABIN, and it is in the BARN RAISING design. I am teaching a class at church to several ladies and 1 man on this design. Some of them are using the Barn Raising design and others are laying it out differently. Very BEAUTIFUL quilts, I must say. Each color scheme is so DIFFERENT.

This has got to be my absolute favorite child's quilt I have ever saw. It is beautiful beyond belief. I love the colors and how the log cabins pink make the cross in the center. How appropriate for you little miracle. Great job. Wonderful quilting. I wanna be u when I grow up :=)
