Default Every Bunny Needs a Quilt

We have two wee granddaughters (almost 2 and almost 4) so I came up with the idea of sewing them bunnies for Easter. They live far away so I need to get everything in the mail soon. I finished their quick quilts this morning and then was able to put the bunnies, their clothing and quilts into purchased lunch bags. The lunch bags have nice straps which will make it easy for the girls to take their bunnies shopping or out for dinner with the family etc. I haven't done any sewing of wee objects in many, many years and I've really missed quilting while stitching away. It felt so good to quickly add loop-da-loops to their quilts! I used safety eyes so hopefully everything will be safe for them. The clothes are fastened with Velcro. I have forgotten so much about regular sewing!

Those ARE adorable!

I agree regular sewing is a whole different animal than quilting. I do both and have to switch my mind back and forth.

Thanks so much! I found the patterns at: https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/1806...?ref=shop_home
The business is Ruby Jean's Closet. I didn't like the way the ears were tied after being stitched so I added them the regular way after stuffing them. I wanted them to point up rather than off to the sides somewhat. There is also a pattern included for making your own travel case but I liked the idea of these lunch boxes as they have a strong plastic pail-like lining which will give it some strength while being dragged and played with. LOL!
