I like the old quilt pattens and fabrics. I have a few quilts made by my MIL which was made for warmth not designs. I am toying with the idea of taking a few of them apart and making bigger quilt. She made a lot of smaller cot size. Their beds were rather small compared to today's sizing.

I too like simple ! love them both. I like making irish chain with just a couple colors and lots of quilting. I love muslin too; some think I'm boring but I love simple. Have moved to thirties and muslin now - some table toppers. Daughters seem to like whatever I give them. They are changing their table toppers with the seasons too. I like to go there and see something I have made in their homes.
