Default I Spy Bug Jar Quilt for my newest Grandson

My middle son and his wife had a baby boy in early September and this is the quilt I made for him. My son loves Calvin and Hobbes and you'll never guess what they named their son...no, not Hobbes, they named him Calvin John (John after his grandfather--my wonderful husband). I really wanted to make him a Calvin and Hobbes quilt, but that wasn't going to happen, so I made him a bug jar quilt and put tiger fabric on the back. I left three blocks without jars on them so I could do a little FMQ in those areas. I think it turned out pretty good. I did add a little tribute to Calvin and Hobbes on the bottom of the quilt, you can see it in one of the pictures. Enjoy, hope you like it.
